I took the second half of September off for my honeymoon, so there were fewer articles published last month than usual. But now I'm back and excited to continue providing you with interviews, news, and reading lists.

Along with reading books, you must love reading about books, because the most-viewed post last month was one listing the best book blogs for people who love to read.
Jumping into the number two spot in September was the story of how Jane Johnston Schoolcraft inspired Longfellow's Hiawatha.
My interview with Kassandra Montag was the third most-viewed blog post in September. Montag is the debut novelist of After the Flood (paid link). The book came out on Sep. 3.
At number four last month is the story of how Lucien Carr killing David Kammerer pulled the Beat writers Kerouac, Burroughs, and Ginsberg into the murder investigation.
Emma Straub tweeted a sneak peek of her upcoming novel, All Adults Here. The book's scheduled to be published in May 2020.
