Bidwell Hollow Is Growing: What You Need to Know
Author interviews, true stories about notable writers begins Nov. 18, 2019
Bidwell Hollow, an email newsletter celebrating authors and poets, is growing as it moves to a new delivery platform called Substack.
The expanded Bidwell Hollow launches Nov. 18, 2019. Starting on that date, here’s what will be new for subscribers:
Subscribers will get an email from Nick Barron (nick@bidwellhollow.com) every time Bidwell Hollow publishes a new post.
Emails will arrive four days a week, following the schedule below.
Each email will contain the entire post, meaning subscribers can read an entire article in their email without having to click or tap to read more.
Subscribers can visit a post to like it or comment on it.
Current subscribers to Bidwell Hollow will automatically begin receiving emails on Nov. 18, 2019. They do not need to create a Substack account.
People who haven’t subscribed to Bidwell Hollow can do so below.
Four Bidwell Hollow emails will be sent to subscribers each week:
Mondays - Literary stories: True stories about authors and poets whose birthdays fall Monday-Wednesday of that week.
Tuesdays - An interview with the featured author or poet of the week.
Thursdays - Literary stories: True stories about authors and poets whose birthdays fall Thursday-Sunday of that week.
Fridays - A curated list of the best book lists published that week.
In the beginning, all Bidwell Hollow emails are free. Beginning Feb. 10, 2020, the literary stories will be available only to paid subscribers. Paid subscriptions are $5 per month or $50 per year.
