Happy Friday,
You know spring approaches when the squirrels come looking for their nuts. Sorry, I need to keep it clean. My mom reads this.
What I mean is, the squirrels are going crazy in our backyard, digging up whatever they buried last fall. I can’t remember where I put my keys yesterday, and these little tree rodents know which spot of dirt they stuck an acorn five months ago.
It’s frustrating. I want to yell, “I’m the superior creature!” at the squirrels, but if you have to say it, is it really true?
Whether a squirrel is smarter than me (quite possibly) doesn’t matter because spring is nigh. Soon we’ll all hear birds chirping, feel the sun’s warmth, and know the itch of a mosquito’s bite.
And if you’re already living somewhere balmy and sunny, let me ask you a question if you’re so smart: Do you know where my keys are?
Thanks for reading,
Nick
