Happy Friday,
Thanks to all of you who took part in the reader survey I sent out the past two weeks. Your feedback and suggestions are excellent guidance for this little newsletter. Two things you all want are:
More writer interviews
A literary birthday and events calendar
I’m working on both, but right now, let’s talk about writer interviews.
As I’ve mentioned, I now only interview writers after reading their latest books. Doing so makes for better interviews, but it decreases the number of interviews I can publish.
One possible solution is accepting guest or volunteer interviews from others. Up to this point, I’ve been an overbearing parent to Bidwell Hollow. But maybe it’s time I open up this space so you can get more good stuff to read. I’m researching and thinking through how this would work. And I’ll keep you posted.
For now, if you want to publish writer interviews in this newsletter, send me an email. I’d love your thoughts.
There are some interesting book lists below. Enjoy! And have a fantastic final August 2020 weekend.
Thanks for reading,
Nick
P.S. Keep those masks on. We all thank you! 😷
Send Bidwell Hollow to a friend…or enemy. That’s fine, too.
